Miami Valley Community Action Partnership has partnered with the Ohio Department of Job and Family Services to serve Montgomery County residents at or below 200% of the Federal Poverty Level.

Applications are taken by appointment only. Appointments may be in person or by phone.

  2. Watch your email for a confirmation note and link to the online application.
  3. Complete the online application, uploading required documents, BEFORE your appointment.

If appointments are full, try back later. New appointment slots are released every Monday at 9 a.m.

Each program has a monetary cap, see details pages, and the overall program has a $3,000 cap.
Each service can only be requested once every 12 months.

Follow these Instructions to Request Assistance

  • You may request a phone or in-person appointment. Once you schedule your appointment, watch your email for a confirmation that will contain the application link.
  • If you are scheduling by phone, please state your email address when you record your name.
  • If you are not able to upload documents, please choose an in-person appointment.
  • If dates are greyed out and you are unable to make an appointment, all slots are full. New slots are released every Monday at 9 a.m. Sometimes appointments are cancelled. Please try again later.

After your appointment, when your application is complete,
you will be notified of approval status and amount by email.

If you do not have an email, a letter will be mailed to you. 

Checks are issued by Montgomery County Job and Family Services. 

If you have questions, call 937-341-5000, ext. 198 and your call will be returned within four business days. 

A voice mail or email requesting assistance does not constitute an application. 
Applications are only available once an appointment is scheduled.
