MVCAP Names New Darke County Director

Greenville native Megan Campbell is the new director of Miami Valley Community Action Partnership’s Darke County office.

Campbell brings more than a decade of leadership experience including leading multi-site teams, strengthening referral networks and a strong record of community engagement.

“I am deeply impressed by Megan’s leadership experience, her knowledge of community and her thoughtful, team-centered approach,” said MVCAP President and CEO Erin Jeffries in announcing the appointment. “She will be a wonderful addition to our leadership team and a great asset to the Darke County community.”

Campbell holds a bachelor’s degree in human services and a master’s degree in psychology, both from Purdue University. Deeply connected in Darke County, she serves on the Tri-County Veteran Suicide Prevention Coalition and as former Chair of the CALLI (Caregivers, Aging, Life Limiting Illness) Taskforce.

Campbell said she was honored to step into the role and grateful for the path that led her to the role that will make a direct impact on her beloved community.

“I have long felt called to serve our community in an even deeper and more profound way,” she said. “I am filled with gratitude and excitement as I come alongside the many wonderful community providers in Darke County.

“I am here for the individuals and families of our community and, with a spirit of purpose and collaboration, I look forward to working together to address the key needs of the people we serve.”

Campbell’s past positions include directing compliance, admissions, and outreach initiatives for organizations including Armada Recovery, EverHeart Hospice, BayMark Health and Acadia Healthcare.

The Darke County office of MVCAP includes seven employees and provides all of MVCAP’s core programs as well as unique ones such as the Clothing Bank. MVCAP also administers the Metropolitan Housing Authority for Darke County.

The Darke County office at 1469 Sweitzer Street in Greenville is open Monday through Thursday from 8 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. The lobby is closed on Fridays while staff process applications.
