Metropolitan Housing Authority

MVCAP serves as the Metropolitan Housing Authority in Darke County.

DCMHA pays a housing subsidy directly to the landlord on behalf of the participating family or individual. The tenant is responsible for the remainder of the rent.

Eligibility is based on income and family size. Rental units must meet minimum standards of health and safety, as determined by Housing Quality Standards.

Apartment Complexes

MVCAP also manages two low-income housing complexes in Darke County

Willow Place Apartments are 3-bedroom units in Greenville with a washer/dryer hookup.

  • 60 units in the building
  • Income required – minimum and maximum limits apply.
  • All applicants subject to credit, background and prior landlord checks.
  • Resident pays natural gas heat and electric. Water, sewer and trash are paid by the complex.
  • All units include hot water heater, stove and refrigerator.

Fox Run Senior Apartments are for tenants age 55 and older.

  • Two and three bedroom units are offered with attached garages.
  • 44 2-bedroom units, 16 3-bedroom units
