Greene County Shelter Gets New Floors
MVCAP’s Donnellan Emergency Shelter has new floors thanks to a federal grant and a partnership with a local contractor.
Troy Copley was able to get materials at a discount to put vinyl plank flooring in four of the six units of the shelter and the staff offices.
“The clients are thrilled, excited and very grateful for the new flooring,” said MVCAP Greene County Director Brent Robinson. “I am super proud of what we are being able to provide.”
Funding for the floors came from a Community Development Block Grant program administered by the U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development and the Ohio Department of Development.
Copley is a member of MVCAP’s Greene County Advisory Board.
