Darke County only
Our Darke County office provides Monthly Food Boxes in partnership with Shared Harvest and a variety of generous community donors. Boxes are available to individuals and families who qualify. Please call the office at 937-548-8143 to be screened and scheduled for routine pickups.
Darke and Preble Counties
Both the Darke County and Preble County offices are distribution points for Shared Harvest’s Senior Commodity boxes. Boxes are also distributed at the Fox Run Senior Apartments managed by MVCAP in Darke County. Boxes are available for income-eligible seniors, age 60 or older in the respective counties. Seniors must be living at or below 150% of the Federal Poverty Level. Learn more by contacting either office or click here for an application.
Clothing Assistance
Darke County only
The Clothing Bank is located in the basement of MVCAP’s Darke County office. Tax deductible donations are accepted and offered for resale. Eligible residents can apply for a clothing voucher.
The facility is also open to the public on Fridays from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. If there is a 5th Friday in the month, the facility is closed. If MVCAP is closed, so is the Clothing Bank.
Volunteers are needed at the Clothing Bank. Stop by the Darke County office to pick up an application.
