Events Held at Fox Run
MVCAP’s partnership with Oberer Management in Darke County is building connections and community.
Full-time manager Mandi Mueller has been organizing events for residents at the Fox Run Senior Apartments. She began with a Halloween/BINGO night that drew more than 30 residents. A Thanksgiving luncheon was held Nov. 24 and included a chance to meet the new Darke County Director Megan Campbell.
“We’re grateful for our impactful partnership with Oberer Property Management and especially Mandi as property manager,” said MVCAP’s Chief Operating Officer Katie O’Donoghue-Ly. “Mandi’s dedication is helping older adults stay connected, supported and thriving.”
Research shows that older adults who stay socially active enjoy a higher quality of life and live longer than those who isolate. Social connection reduces the risks of depression, heart disease and cognitive decline. And it makes them happier!
More events are on the way, O’Donoghue-Ly said.
Oberer Management is now serving residents of both Fox Run and Willow Place in Darke County. Learn more about both complexes by clicking here.
