Executive Administrator Retires

MVCAP congratulates Executive Administrator Cindy Dahlman on her retirement last month.

Dahlman served at MVCAP for five and a half years working to support the leadership team and board of trustees.

“Cindy has done so many great things for our agency that kept us moving forward even when it was hard,” said President and CEO Erin Jeffries.

Dahlman also served as co-chair of the MVCAP Safety Committee for which she received the peer-voted Safety Excellence Award in 2025. She oversaw a comprehensive process that resulted in updated security systems, organized agency-wide training and ensured that standardized first aid kits and AEDs are available in every agency facility and vehicle.

“Through her proactive planning, attentive follow-through and unwavering commitment to preparedness, Cindy has helped transform safety from a set of procedures into a culture that will benefit MVCAP for years to come,” Jeffries said in presenting the award last December.

Dahlman expressed gratitude to her colleagues.

“Ending my career with you is the best,” she said. “I’m so grateful to finish with you.”

Most of Dahlman’s duties are being taken over by Cherie Wetteland, Executive Assistant and HR Coordinator.

Wetteland joined MVCAP in February and trained alongside Dahlman. Her background includes executive support at a variety of organizations including Nexteer Automotive, Lubrizol Corporation and Accurate Courier Services.
