Services count toward annual cap of $3,000 on a per instance amount and may include:

• Up to 4 months of bus passes for school-aged children
• Driver Education Course – once every 5 years
• License and vehicle registration once per 12 month period

This program does not cover car payments, down payment to purchase car, car insurance, adult bus passes, or rideshare fees.

Required Documentation

• Picture ID for all household member 18 and over (driver’s license, passport, state-issued ID)
• Birth Certificate and Social Security Card for all household members
• Verification of all household income for 30 days prior to application
• Child support documents if applicable
• Proof that child is in your household. Documentation must include the child’s name and the applicant’s address. Pregnant women should provide a doctor’s note. Only validated items – such as SNAP/Medicaid award letters, school correspondence, lease agreement listing children as occupants or medical/immunization records – will be accepted.
• Receipt for reimbursement for Invoice for license and registration fees to pay vendor directly. Invoice or receipt must be dated within 30 days of application.
• Receipt for bus pass. Receipt must be dated within 30 days of application.
• Invoice required to pay vendor directly for Driver Education Course.
