If you are discouraged over a lack of computer skills, Community  Action Partnership’s free Computer Learning Program can help. Classes cover all the basics from computer terminology and operating systems to using the Internet, sending e-mail, and creating and editing documents.
Classes meet for two hours three days a week for three weeks. Students may choose either morning (9-11 a.m.) or afternoon (1-3 p.m.) sessions.
Monthly sessions begin in February and go through August (not offered in April). Classes are held each month on Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday. They are scheduled as followed:
February: 9-11, 16-18, and 23-25.
March: 8-10, 15-17 and 22-24.
May: 3-5, 10-12 and 17-19.
June: 7-9, 14-16 and 21-23.
July: 12-14, 19-21 and 26-28.
August: 9-11, 16-18 and 23-25.
*All classes meet in Community Action Partnership’s computer lab at 719 S. Main St. in Dayton.
