Fazoli’s and Feed the Children Join Forces to Feed Families
400 Dayton Families to Receive Essentials for Everyday Life
March 23, 2017

DAYTON, Ohio (March 23, 2017) – Fazoli’s joins Community Action Partnership and Feed the Children to provide Dayton community families with resources Tuesday, March 28, from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. This drive-through event at the Welcome Stadium, located on the University of Dayton campus (1601 S. Edwin C. Moses Blvd.), will help 400 families receive much-needed food and everyday essentials.
At this event, Fazoli’s CEO Carl T. Howard will be giving opening remarks welcoming all families and volunteers. Pre-identified families will each receive a 25-pound food box; a 10-pound box of essentials that includes personal-care items such as bathroom tissue, shampoo and conditioner; and a box of assorted Avon products.
“This marks our third event in the Dayton Community. We’re honored to work alongside Feed the Children and Community Action Partnership to help them to defeat hunger,” said Carl Howard. “Feed the Children is an organization I hold close to my heart, and I’m proud to partner with them to make lives easier for the families of Dayton. It’s truly rewarding to be able to help families in need—especially right here in my hometown.”
This is one of many events Feed the Children has planned across the country to help defeat hunger. In Dayton, nearly 36 percent of families live below the poverty line. With the help of community partners and volunteers, we can help feed the bodies, minds and futures of those in need.
“Feed the Children is proud to partner with Fazoli’s and Community Action Partnership today,” said Travis Arnold, Feed the Children Interim CEO/President and COO. “We know that when we combine our efforts, we will have a greater impact on the lives of families who need us most—right here in America.”
