WHO: Feed The Children, Speedway Children’s Charities and the Community Action Partnership of the Greater Dayton Area (CAP).
WHAT: A Community Distribution of food and personal care items.
WHEN: Thursday, Sept. 6, from 10 a.m. until 2 p.m., or while supplies last.
WHERE: The Welcome Stadium parking lot, 1601 S. Edwin C. Moses Blvd. in Dayton.
WHY: As part of a nationwide effort, Feed the Children, in partnership with Speedway Children’s Charities, will deliver a truckload of food and essentials to help 400 families. CAP identified eligible families to receive a 25-pound box of food and a box of personal care items. These items are designed to help a family of four for a week.
Families must verify their eligibility by bringing a picture ID and a voucher from CAP.
