Youth ages 7 to 15 looking to learn a new skill, meet new people and have fun this summer may enroll in daytime summer camps sponsored by the Community Action Partnership Youth Empowerment Center (YEC). The camps will be held at the YEC, 716 E. Main St. in Trotwood.
Camps will be held weekly beginning Monday, June 13, and continuing through Thursday, July 28. Each weekly camp will have a different focus. The camp schedule is as follows:
- June 13–17: Science.
- June 20–24: Cooking.
- June 27–July 1: Photography.
- July 5-8: Music. (Camp will not be held on July 4).
- July 11–15: R.E.A.D.Y. Boys and F.L.Y. Girls.
- July 18–23: Art.
- July 26 and 28: Fun Days.
Camps will be held from 8:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. for youth ages 7 to 12. Ages 13 to 15 will attend camp from noon to 3 p.m.
