WHO: Community Action Partnership’s community partners, agency customers, staff, supporters and friends
WHAT: The “Helping People. Changing Lives.” Awards recognizing individuals and organizations for outstanding customer and community service.
WHEN: Wednesday, May 27. Breakfast will be served beginning at begin at 8:30 a.m. followed a by brief program from Community Action Partnership and the awards presentation beginning at 9 a.m.
WHERE: The Community Action Partnership Weatherization Facility, 3155 Elbee Rd. in Moraine.
WHY: As part of National Community Action Month, Community Action Partnership will share the community’s successes and struggles in helping low-income people achieve a better quality of life. The event will also give local residents a firsthand look at the challenges low-income individuals and families face and how Community Action Partnership programs can assist them.
The “Helping People. Changing Lives.” awards will be presented to community-based direct services staff and community partners who consistently demonstrate their commitment to helping others achieve greater self-sufficiency.
