WHO: Community Action Partnership’s community partners, agency customers, staff, supporters and friends.
WHAT: The Second Annual “Helping People. Changing Lives.” Awards recognizing individuals and organizations for outstanding customer and community service.
WHEN: Friday, May 18, from 8:30 to 10:30 a.m. Breakfast will be served from 8:30 to 9 a.m., followed a by brief program from Community Action Partnership and the awards presentation.
WHERE: The Dayton/RTA Cultural Center, 40 South Edwin C. Moses Blvd.
WHY: As part of National Community Action Month, Community Action Partnership will share the community’s successes and struggles in helping low-income people achieve a better quality of life. The event will also give local residents a firsthand look at the challenges low-income individuals and families face and how Community Action Partnership programs can assist them.
The “Helping People. Changing Lives.” awards will be presented to community-based direct services staff and community partners who consistently demonstrate their commitment to helping others achieve greater self-sufficiency.
