WHO: Approximately 30 participants in Community Action Partnership’s (CAP) Ohio V.E.T.S. and WorkPAYS programs and representatives of local vocational, educational, training and social services.
WHAT: The Ohio V.E.T.S. and WorkPAYS programs have invited several representatives to provide information on their programs and services. The information session will help CAP customers learn about services that will help them find employment, further their education, increase their skills and access other services they might need.
WHEN: Thursday, Aug. 29. The schedule of events is as follows:
10–10:15 a.m.: Introduction and Welcome.
10:15–11:15 a.m.: Vocational Briefings.
11:15–11:30 a.m.: Educational Briefings.
11:30 a.m.–12:30 p.m.: Lunch.
12:30–1 p.m.: Training Briefings.
1–2 p.m.: Service Support Briefings.
WHERE: The Community Action Partnership office, 719 S. Main St. in Dayton.
WHY: The information session allows participants to get basic information on local veterans’ initiatives, training and employment opportunities, and other services. Those invited to participate in the information session with CAP include the Dayton-Montgomery County Job Center, the VA, Walmart, Sinclair Community College, the Good Neighbor House, Homefull and others.
